BRIDAL EPISODE #5 - MUSLIM BEAUTY

Hi Hi!

Today I had so much fun with this bridal party in San Juan.  They contacted me over a couple mths ago based on another wedding I had done for a Muslim Bride (you can check back my earlier posts for it) and they were impressed with the simplicty and flawless look I gave her.

I didn't do a trial so I wasn't sure what I was going to meet but was glad that they all had somewhat good skin and were so excited to get airbrush makeup done.  A couple of them inclusive of the bride had sensitive skin so I was extra careful to ensure that the products were properly sanitized prior and after application for each of them.  All they asked for was a little drama on the eyes and definite liner to accentuate.  I used OCC Airbrush Makeup and Coastal Scents eyeshadow and Ben Nye Fireworks Wheel to highlight.

The tranformations were subtle but effective for each of them but not everyone wanted to take out Before Pics...that 's ok though, the Afters were great!

The bride is in white ( of course) & gold.  Just Beautiful!

Hi Again!

I think by now followers can guess that my style is soft beauty that is appropriate for the 'every woman' as all they want, is to look what I term 'dramatically beautiful'.  They want the wow factor but still want to identify themselves and go beyond the current trends.

I adore the glow and bronzer effects and try to incorporate it as much as possible in my makeup looks.   I did that today with my job of wedding party of five, inclusive of the bride.  They kept mentioning to me that they wanted natural (this term however seems to differ person to person) and were very apprenhensive since they don't typically wear makeup on a daily basis.

In fact, they indicated (all of them) that they don't have much of a skin care regime and the soap bar sneaks in, once in while, to clean the face.  The horror!!!  Of course, you know I poo-pooed that and pointed out the right things to do.

The ladies were game and were willing to see the results of the airbrush makeup (mucho eager!).

Thank you ladies for the fun today and I know that you are still enjoying yourselves at the reception....:-)

THE SECOND MUSLIM BEAUTY

As I promised, my second beauty of a muslim bride is Farah and her final pic is here.

Her makeup was of course airbrush based along with some conventional selections.  If there is ever a time that the makeup must stay put is whenever I come into contact with muslim brides and their beautiful hijabs.  The amount of movement that will occur to put them on, with conventional makeup will ultimately streak and leave 'footprints' on the garments.

That's why, to me, its even more imperative to ensure that the makeup is resistant to movement and the airbrush will always be the best choice.

• Warm Brown Eyeshadow under the lower lashes

• Revlon Liquid Eyeliner in Black
• Black Loreal Mascara

LIPS:

• Lauren Hutton Lip Pencil (as I write this I can't remember the shade name but it was definitely a rose tinted color)
• Lip Sealer by Mehron

As I mentioned before, I reduced any use of powder so there wouldn't be any mishaps, hope you guys like it!
